Wales lags behind rest of UK in strong social enterprises
This was the headline in the Welsh press in June. We won this plaudit due to the lack of entries to the SE100 Index. Wales now has an opportunity to change the result in the 2010/11 Index.
What’s in it for your social enterprise?
- A showcase for your enterprise and the impact it delivers to your community.
- UK-wide publicity for you business.
- Share of £50,000 if you are a top performing social enterprise, fastest growing or having the biggest impact.
- 3-months free subscription to Social Enterprise magazine.
This is our chance to put a bigger dot on the map for Welsh social enterprise.
* Scotland featured 39 social enterprises last year, Wales only 13.
Entry to the index is now more important as October’s issue of Social Enterprise magazine will pit Wales against Scotland and Northern Ireland by publishing growth and impact of the regions side by side, using the market intelligence tool.
Sign up and then wait for a call from the SE100 Index team who will take you through a short questionnaire to get your enterprise featured on the index.
