RCMA Social Enterprise Ltd. – ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

A highly motivated and entrepreneurial person with a strong track record in social enterprise is required to take on primary responsibility for developing, promoting, and managing RCMA’s award-winning farmers markets in Cardiff, and for coordinating our programme of food-related outreach and education activities, including the Riverside Community Allotment.

This would initially be a half-time post, with the opportunity for it to become full-time if sufficient income were generated.

RCMA contributes to a sustainable local food system in Wales, while at the same time operating as a dynamic and financially viable social enterprise. We have achieved a high level of recognition for the quality of our award-winning farmers’ markets and associated outreach activities, and are committed to enhancing our profile and increasing public engagement with all aspects of our activities.

The person we are looking for will be passionate about social enterprise, sustainability and local food, while having the promotional flair and management skill to drive RCMA through it’s next phase of development.

Salary: £30,000 p.a. pro rata (half-time initially)
Contract: One year (renewable) – initial 3 month probationary period.
