Food co-op boost for housing association tenants

leave a comment »

A food co-operative has been set up so Cadwyn Housing Association’s tenants can buy good-quality, affordable fruit and vegetables.

The co-op runs every Thursday from Cadwyn Housing Association building, 197 Newport Road, Cardiff, and is open to anyone.

Karen King, support services manager for Cadwyn, said: “The food co-op is a fantastic way for the local community, especially those on low income, to access fresh fruit and vegetables that otherwise they may struggle to afford.”
