Flagship conference for the social enterprise sector in Wales

Social Enterprise Wales Conference 2011 will feature some of the leading industry names as keynote speakers.

Under the theme of ‘Ready, Willing and Able’, the conference will bring together social entrepreneurs with policy makers and leading international experts.

When: 16 & 17 November 2011

Where: Richard Ley Centre, Swansea

Additonal features:

The conference will hold eight individual breakout sessions each day of the conference on a range of themes. These sessions will be held twice so delegates have the opportunity to attend two. Up to four sessions per day will also be live streamed and recorded then available as videos after the event.

Networking – a facilitated networking session with be held on Day 1 of the conference. Delegates will be grouped according to sector.

The conference will feature a new concept called the U-Pod on Day 2 only. We’re asking delegates who have an idea for a new social enterprise, or to build on a current enterprise, to informally present their idea to small groups of other delegates who will offer their feedback and constructive advice. Submissions for the U-Pod must be made when you book.

The Social Enterprise Wales Conference 2011 is organised by the Wales Co-operative Centre and the Welsh Social Enterprise Coalition with support from the Welsh Government.

The Wales Co-operative Centre provides advice and support to social enterprises and co-operatives within the Convergence area of Wales.
