Free social media training in Anglesey

leave a comment »

Medrwn Mon and the Daily Post have teamed up to deliver a day of social media training for people in Anglesey. The sessions are free and are designed for people who have never used Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or Skype before.

The sessions have been organised thanks to funding from Communities 2.0, the Welsh Government’s Digital Inclusion initiative, which is delivered by the Wales Co-operative Centre.

The training will be led by Lon Vaughan from Medrwn Mon who says, “We will welcome anyone who wants to learn how to use Facebook, Twitter. LinkedIn or Skype safely. There will be informal hands-on sessions with an opportunity for you to ask any questions you have and have a go at social media.”

The Facebook session is from 9.30am-11am

Twitter is 11.15am-12.45pm

LinkedIn is 1.30pm-3.00pm

Skype is from 3.15pm-4.45pm

People are welcome to drop in for the session that interests them or stay for the whole day. For more information contact Lon@medrwnmon.org.
